Google gave me opposing answers. Is there anyone who can share his/her experience attending any of the conferences organised by Wessex Institute? As a relatively new researcher, I am wary of bogus/predatory journals and conferences. I gratefully appreciate your help.
This is a borderline case. Some practices (especially in their organization of conferences) are questionable. Yet it is a research institute, recognized for example by the University of Southampton (https://www.southampton.ac.uk/medicine/business_partnership/services/wessex_institute.page). But it is light to decide on their seriousness. For my part, I would avoid. But it's still a real research institute, so it's still safe. Up to you. It would not make a great career to contribute to their conference series, but it would not have really negative consequences either.
