Who has ever visited Rome will remember the magnificent fountains. These fine objects must have been the results of a group of artists at least an architect and a sculptor. What do you think which one was the dominant in this collaboration? Which one had the determinant idea and why?

Regarding the Trevi fountain, the design belonged to Nicolo Salvi but the sculpture work was made by Pietro Bracci http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pietro_Bracci
and it was quite a longstanding working because it „was finished in 1762 by Giuseppe Pannini, who substituted the present allegories for planned sculptures of Agrippa and "Trivia", the Roman virgin”.

I have seen first the Trevi fountain long time ago when Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni had a scene in the Dolce vita of Fellini. This was a time when films had even messages for reflection and feelings. By the way this time films were called films and not movies.

The sculptor and designer of the fountains of villa Borghese was Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the most eminent Italian sculptors.
