Through sources in teaching methods active learning methods are considered independent teaching strategies. But through research and practice, I see that these are merely classroom activities used with any teaching strategy. This is because every active learning strategy does not have a perspective and a world, and there are no teaching steps and no detailed teacher-student roles. In addition, it is very simple and formal in actual and creative teaching procedures.
In my opinion, active learning means a lot of things. The most important thing after all is whether or not students can really learn something that interests them. So, teachers need to continuously ask themselves who are my targeted audiences? What can I do for these groups of people? So I would argue active learning is an integral part of teaching landscape, which requires teachers understand their teaching philosophy.
