APS is a strong oxidizing agent among all oxidant for the synthesis of polyaniline. Can any body tell me how it affect the polymerization process.

APS can be formed a cation-radical from aniline monomer for starting the polymerization
Aps acts by oxidising each aniline molecule so that coupling assisted polymerization occurs. Rate of polymerization depends on catalyst conc., temp., pH and medium.

Thank you for your point. But on the basis of yield, K2Cr2O7 oxidant gives more yield campare to APS and H2O2.
APS also yields larger polymer chain size within a very short reaction time .
