Photovoltaic electricity generators are becoming even feasible for grid connected PV systems for domestic use. In supplying the communication equipment with electric power they are used in the remote area far from the public grid. They are used in combination combined with diesel generators. In the desert roads i saw many such installations for the mobile network.
