I have used Freundlich plot isotherms before in the analysis of data from sugar syrup decolourisation using activated carbon. I would wish to analyse similar data but using different isotherms and also do a comparison. Any information on this will be helpful. Papers ,Journals will assist me alot
The Freundlich isotherms are usually use to applied to predict the surface heterogeneity the adsorbent as well as multi layer of coverage of the surface. The isotherms are straight lines which means that these carbon- carbon –solution system can be defined in terms of Freundlich isotherms.
The relationship between the carbon dosage and the adsorption of colorant is described by the empirical Freundlich adsorption equation

In this equation, X is the units of colorant held by M units of carbon with which such adsorption was affected. X equals CO–C; that is the difference between the original and final concentration colorant .Co is the concentration of colorant remaining unadsorbed at equilibrium
What I meant to ask was "how do you collect the data points in order to plot the lines?" For example the Type 1 and Type 2 isotherms can be obtained by the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) method collected on a Micromeritics Porosimeter.
The absorbances of all samples
were then measured. Along with activated carbon treated samples, a blank containing the test syrup alone was subjected to the same experimental conditions. The color of the blank after stirring and filtration represents the original color of the standard test liquor and was used for the calculation.
The percent color removed by activated carbons was calculated by,
