I am looking for literature (preferably with data) on the emissions and land inputs/outputs of Agricultural land, growing corn for food, compared to that of corn grown as an energy crop for biofuel production. There is inconsistency in the literature available of if these processes and their product LCA's are much different, for instance it is known that converted grassland has increased carbon emissions than preexisting cultivated land, due to the release of stored carbon, which impacts the first stage of comparison.

Desired information on projects or literature based around: LCA of the raw corn for both food and energy crop production, then separate LCA's on each corn's final product production methods - in order to conduct a comparative study.
