Teaching students about the maths is teaching them the language of the Universe. The only way ypu can boost a kids will to learn something as “seemingly” boring as maths is to entice their curiosity.
Along with curiosity, you can entice their will to power. Understanding this reality is what breeds success. When you teach maths, you are teach tensors of reality (your students) about themselves and the reality they coexist in.
Or candy.. candy usually does the trick lol
The best tool for teaching maths is the hand and board. The student follow the procedure step by step.
