My dissertation is based on an interdisciplinary analogy on communication in diverse species. I am wondering if an expert would like to work with me on cancer cell communication?
As you can see from my past research in human linguistics/bacterial cell communication (which can be found under my name in "thesis" at www.academia.edu), I am hoping to find a hard sciences partner with an open outlook on research. Cancer cell communication requires an even more optimistic approach when seeking a comparative opportunity in inter/intra communicative structures within diverse species. The commitment, at first, will not be too taxing - as discussions in philosophical, empirical, and potential applications have to ventilate an outlook which can bring us to a concrete, practical methodology. Does this answer your question?
Unfortunately I cannot see it because academia.edu requires me to sign and I am not willing to do that. Also, as Jacques mentions, synapse is a specific neurohistological structure so this term does not corresponds to an intercellular communication between cancer cells.
A few things... First, interdisciplinary terms have, since 2007, been the subject of study by MIT. However, I have changed the question to keep traditional understanding intact. Second, no respectable student will ask someone else to work on his thesis. It is actually illegal. Third, the objective here is to co-write an article which can answer (or at least generate) questions related to creativity in communication in microorganisms. I would prefer to stick to cancer cells.
I would like to get access to your previous work, human linguistics/bacterial cell communication, to get a better sense of what you are looking for. Unfortunately, I do not have access to this so I cannot formulate a response at this time.
