Anyone has some researchs about face recognition using nearest feature line embedding(NFLE)?

Recently, I am studying a paper "Face recognition using nearest feature space embedding".But when I achieve it with matlab codes,the results indicate huge gap between my achievement results and the paper given. After trying a few times ,I find NFLE looks like work little. I don't know what is wrong with my codes or my thoughts? Can someone give me a suggestion or source codes? I'll appreciate it!!!
