I'm looking for information about trends in self-efficacy as a function of performance, particularly downward trends in self-efficacy. Everything I have found focuses on trends in performance as a function of self-efficacy instead.
You should be aware that there is self-efficacy research on children as well as adults. In the research involving children, you can find studies by Barry Zimmerman.
