Hi

I am planning to work on electrorheology of ceramic suspension. Our goal is to reduce the viscosity of the viscoelastic fluid under various DC/AC field. Most of the paper I see that all electro rheological fluids shows shear thickening behavior under increasing electric field. I would like to ask,  is it the intrinsic behavior of any dielectric suspension where viscosity increases with electric field or reverse things can also happen i.e shear thinning (Viscosity reduction) also we can observe with increasing electric field and frequency. If you have come across any paper could you share it.
