We are using data from ERA5 Land for a preliminary analysis with a GDVM. All other data fields we downloaded are aggreable for the region we are running our tests on, however for Surface Solar Radiation Downwards (SSRD) we are getting radically low values.

The area in question lies in between 43N and 35N (Mediterranean/Black Sea region) and as advised by ERA5 Land we are downloading the daily accumulated values at 00:00 hrs dividing by 86400 to arrive at the daily mean and to convert to Wm-2 (from its original Jm-2). The values we end up with are between 59.5 and 139.2 Wm-2. We are expecting a range at least 7 times higher.

Anyone ran into a similar problem in ERA5 Land or ERA5 Reanalysis?

Thanks in advance
