Because lentiviral vectors are derived from the HIV-1 pathogen, biosafety issues are an important concern. I was asked to indicate whether if lentivirus is animal or human pathogen when I try to ship from school to school, could anyone have a answer?
Depends on the country of origin and destination, and whether you're using recombinant lentivirus, and what generation if recombinant.

As Murtaza stated, it depends on country of origin and destination but if you are struggling sending the purified virus which should be treated as a BSL-2, you could send a dried version of the vector
Did you prepare the virus yourself? It is standard in the scientific community to now use 2nd generation packaging mix for most lentivirus production companies, which is replication incompetent due to important replication genes being removed from the lentivector.
