Thanks for your suggestion. Actually this paper have been one of my main sources to learn about mixture fractions and endmembers. The authors metioned in this and other relevant papers that they used the SMA model (Adams, 1993 I am looking for this article) to detect the endmembers, after the descomposition of the reflectance data into fractions of GV, NPV, Soil and Shade. I have tried to get this fractions from the analysis of PPI, but muy doubt is how to translate the reflectance curves for each fraction into a numerical index in order to compute the NDFI index. I am trying to understand how they implment equation 1, 2, and 3, to solve the equation 4 and 5.

In any case, I suppose according your suggestion that there is more information in this work, and I have not seen it yet.
