Dear Prof. Chechkin I noticed that you have cited some of my early work, and was very interested to see that your work is far more mathematical and thorough. My interests are more focused on pragmatic engineering usage, but I think we might have some common interests. The addition of weights and holes is analogous to modelling engineering components with damage, and your work could indicate methods for the detection of such damage. I've also recently started to investigate domains with fractal boundaries, with application to modelling cooling performance as well as frequency modification.
