To perform staining with mouse antibody on mouse tissue I used the M.O.M kit from vectorLab, and I have to say I had a wonderful staining. However, recently I order the same kit, and didn’t perform as used to be. I tried to troubleshoot the problem by using all the samples that I know they are positive in vain. I am very disappointed with vectorLab customer service. I lost a lot of time trying to get this to work again. Thanks. Aicha
- Mouse to mouse staining are very tricky and complected because of its back ground color. You have to carefully block the slide. The antibodies are also funny some lots it will work better and some are not. Better you can change the company. You can try Abcam USA or Max vision bioscience inc.
Thank you so much Kumar. Indeed, further testing showed that the biotinylated secondary from 2014 kit does not work at all compare to the one from 2013 kit. In a test experiment, I used all the reagents from 2014 kit but the biotinylated secondary that I substitute with the one from 2013 kit (that I used for years and gave me very clean localized staining every time).
