The project is to analyse the grid stability to increased load of renewable sources . It's an ongrid island , with limitations of import and export to the mainland . In order to make it self sustainable with the existing system , possible alteration in the grid is to be analysed(like change of cables.. ) and estimate the maximum available potential for additional resources. Further a proper mix of wind and solar based on the islands electricity profile will be estimated and studied on the grid .

Hello Farhan, from what I understood you have an island with mixed renewable energy sources (RES) which cannot import or export power with the main grid due to limitations. I think the following things related to stability will be of major concerns in this scenario:
1). If it is operating in islanded mode, the generating sources (Diesel, RES converters) generally must share power efficiently (commonly using droop method) to regulate the island frequency and voltage. You need to see whether your system is stable in this respect or not!
2). You can also study other stability issue like transient or rotor angle stability by disconnecting large load or generating source and measuring the rotor angle of synchronous generator in your island.
3). The use of RES and varying loads will also effect the island steady state voltage. You can run load-flow to study it. This can also be broadly called "Long-term voltage stability".
