this protocol used to extract from difficult tissues like olive

i presume that it will work in your case

This particular protocol is for recalcitrant tissues

Many thanks Vijesh I have managed to download the paper and it sounds promising.  My main issue will be step 1 as we do not have access to liquid nitrogen but we are getting a tissue homogeniser shortly.  Would that give sufficient cell disruption?
