i have innovation as mediator in my framework and performance as DV. i am looking for subjective measures for performance but should be something related to innovation for example Agility.
Innovation-based performance is different from agile-based performance
Because the first one (innovation-based performance) is rely on investment in latest technology that develops performance and makes the company different in terms of technology only than other competitors
The second (agile-based performance) depends on the company's ability to respond rapidly to environmental variables and thus its ability to explore and exploit opportunities.
my suggestion for you is to adopt the model of exploration and exploitation as an agile strategy to capture the performance edge with the competitors
Innovation is a synergy between Creation and Entrepreneurship. So, in this way you should use a model which could be able to make a synergy between the two. I recommend you to illustrate the curve of innovation by variables Creation and Entrepreneurship. Try to make a linear regression equivalent via Y=alpha+beta.X in which Y is the entrepreneurship and the X is the creation and the relevant linear curve is the innovation which you need. To measure organizational performance for innovation you need to compare the relevant curves in different time period.
the Innovation the mean of enhancing agility of the firm by building a culture that’s flexible enough to change tactics, priorities and processes as circumstances require that in turn enhance the firm performance. Measuring Agility helps the organisation for improving their performance. Forrester identifies 10 measurable dimensions that shape an organisation’s business agility:

Labor productivity is the criterion of effectiveness or not?
It is usually assumed that labor productivity is the criterion of effectiveness. However, if you conduct a thought experiment may prove to be effective an enterprise with one head with a very large salary. What is the criterion still may be adequate for assessing the effectiveness?
Since the context at which you want to explore innovation is not known, i would presume it to be for a company. There are two aspects to be defined here, to understand and evaluate link between innovation and performance and these are:
1. Dimensions that indicate innovation in a company can relate to - product, service and service, and to measure them we need to look at - number of patents issued, research spending, new product launches etc.
2. Dimensions that indicate performance can be related to - sales revenue, profitability, performance ratios, stock price, number of employees, etc.
Testing these two aspects provide a basis for accepting or rejecting your hypothesis - which might look into understanding why,how and by how much innovation mediates or drives performance (DV) of a company.
