We have observations for Net radiation and soil heat flux from the station. I am interested in computing ET as residual of surface energy balance for the station. However estimating sensible heat flux (H) is still challenging. What would be the best way to estimate H using the available temperature and wind speed measurements (if no scintillometer or eddy covariance is available) .

This is an interesting question. Can you give some details about the system (for e.g. grassland, boreal forest, temperature forest...) you're working on?
Hi Abdul, Thanks for your interest. We are interested in the forest ecosystem. It has mixed vegetation with short grass , sage brush and conifers .. The towers are mostly located in the grass or sage.
You might use flux variance and half-order time derivative methods to estimate sensible heat. It requires single level measurement of air temperature. However, the temperature measurements should have to be quite frequent and need to have ways to estimate friction velocity. You might want to look at Wesson et al. 2001. Water Resources Research 37(9): 2333-2343 and Argain et al. 2009. Boundary Layer Meteorology 130: 15-28, if you've not already done so.
