Does such thing even exist?
I would like to publish my PhD thesis. I am ready to rewrite it into a less scientific monograph if there is such option of publishing for free and in the same time open access with not to low reputation.
Sounds to me to be a contradiction in terms. Why would a company publish your book for free, then do not charge anything for making them available? Some dreams do not come true.

@Michael Patrisson, many universities and ngo's have publishing financed from public money to serve the public. At least it is how it works with research journals... Why should I pay for sharing my knowledge?
