Do you have any specific bioinformatics analysis in mind? There are a large number of tools with a web front-end which do not require any scripting knowledge. Then there are several R Bioconductor packages that are useful for analyses of big datasets such as GWAS, QTL mapping, population genetic analysis, gene-expression analysis and many other things. These packages come with very useful manuals and often have discussion pages on the bioconductor community pages as well. You would require some basic understanding of R programming to use most of the packages.
