Do any of you know the source of electricity consumption data for many countries together ? I am looking for a panel of time series data. Your help will be much appreciated.

You could try the French distribution company RTE. The 2017 report is attached (the 2018 one isn't available in English yet). I didn't explore links to the integrated European system.
