I have installed Mendeley desktop (v. 1.19.4) and LibreOffice (v. 7.0.0.3) in my laptop. Although the Mendeley plugin for Word is installed, when I try to enter a reference I get the following message "Error: data type mismatch. At line: 844" (sometimes the number of line is different (e.g. 1052).
PS1. The "track changes" is disabled, the error keeps showing.
PS2. I also use the Microsoft Office and the Mendeley works smoothly.
Any ideas?

1. Do you have installed EndNote in your system.
2. If yes, then it could be a reason because it interfere with the functioning of mendeley.
3. I have encountered this issue.
4. Problem may be due to incompatibility of the both the version that you can consult with person having knowledge of software.
