Hello,
I'm handling very small amount of agarose bead for IP
and trying to make some microscale spin column to reduce bead loss during wash or eluting process.
what I want to to is punching out membrane and add it to 200ul-pipette tips with pressure device, as described in protocol below.
https://www.nature.com/articles/nprot.2007.261
However I cannot find any proper membranes which are
- made of materials that are not binding to bead or proteins
- punch-able with pressure device (about 1mm diameter).
There are some commercial tip-scale column with PE frit in Harvard Apparatus, but too expensive for bulk use.
Can anyone recommend any frit or membrane that can be useful in this case?
Thanks in advance.
