The SDSM-DC 5.2 and 6.1 have been mentioned by the developers to downscale GCM data without the need for GCM predictors. However, I have note been able to find any documentation on how to go about it. the SDSM manual has only elaborated downscaling using earlier versions of SDSM where NCEP and GCM predictors have been provided. I have found it quite challenging and somehow impossible to complete a CMIP6 GCM output downscaling using the SDSM software. Anyone with an idea how to go about this?

It is possible that you may need to rely on written user manuals or guides for SDSM 6.1, if video tutorials are not readily available. But why do you wish to perform downscaling manually when dynamic downscaling using Regional Climate Models (RCMs) with comprehensive historical and future data is readily available today? I highly recommend utilizing this pre-downscaled data instead of employing a statistical downscaling method on your own. These data are free from Baise, there is no requirement for you to perform bias correction.
