I am working with Feature Extraction and classification of of EMG signals for different hand movements. i would like to know whether biopac 100c module will work separately with other softwares like labview. if so tell me the how the amplifier is powered and what is the type of out expected from the module(digital or analog?)
The simple answe is No, EMG100C is not DAQ, but kind of a pre-amplifier.
So, it needs at least a oscilloscope or other DAQ to convert its signal to digital data.
I heard about a guy who use 100C module and connect it to another DAQ rather than using UIM100C. But it will require the good knowledge about the mechanisms both on Biopac and your own DAQ.
Check the description below. the signals from 100C amplifier is still analogue! it receives power from main amp through some pins among their 25pin connections.
