Dear Fellows I checked very recent literature for the P-T phase diagram by means of exp. measurements on Metallic Hydrogen.
I found several interesting papers that show its metallic phase at high pressure: Any comments please? are there any new DFT calculations for a Metallic Hydrogen P-T Phase Diagram?

The creation of metallic hydrogen, which may be regarded in some respects as the simplest metal, and the determination of its critical temperature, are not only of obvious physical interest but may also have significant astrophysical implications.

Suffice it to say that large planets such as Jupiter and Saturn must contain a considerable proportion of metallic hydrogen. The much more important consideration is that metallic hydrogen may prove to be stable (although its state will, of course, be metastable) even under zero or comparatively low pressure. There are well-known examples of such quite durable metastable modifications: for instance diamond, which has a higher free energy than graphite at low temperatures and pressures.

The theoretical analysis of the possible structure of metallic hydrogen has yielded fascinating and unexpected results, despite the questions of the stability and lifetime of the metastable state. According to these results, at zero pressure, metallic hydrogen must have a filamentous structure which lacks order along the filaments, that is, it has only two-dimensional periodicity (a triangular lattice is formed by the filaments in the plane perpendicular to them). Under pressure metallic hydrogen may become liquid, even before the equilibrium pressure has been reached (at the equilibrium pressure metallic hydrogen co-exists with molecular hydrogen).

Hydrogen H indeed is the most found element in the universe.
Its phase diagram will play a key role in the survival of spaceships & crews in outer space, for many years from now.
However, the Metallic Hydrogen phase remains a mystery, despite all the work done.

This is a very interesting low temperatures experimental work on adding impurities to solid hydrogen.
Dr. Eugeniy Beliayev
has told me about a very interesting unrepeated experiment with a crystal of Hydrogen.- From fig 1 in (Gregoryanz et al, 2020), it can be seen that Hydrogen when pressured decreases at a constant temperature, it changes from metallic to molecular state of matter.

The elusive metallic state of pure Hydrogen at high pressures and low temperatures was predicted and studied by Wigner & Huntington in 1935, and still, almost 100 years later, is a matter of discussion.
