ANY-MAZE 7.09 Crashing when I add a wmv file?

Whenever I try to add .wmv files as a video source that have worked in previous versions of ANY-MAZE, the new version 7.09 crashes with error code 0xC0000094 at 0x4186d19F. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?
