I'm looking for interesting biological systems that involve a Proline mutation (either from or to Proline). I've found some that I list below, but any other systems with experimental affinity measurements would be greatly appreciated.
- SH3 binding to Proline-rich peptides
- Trypsin-benzamidine and T190P mutant (pdb: 1oss)
- SKEMPI data for pdb: 3sgb
- Stability data involving Prolines --- Protein Gβ1 (pdb: 1pga) and Ribonuclease (pdb: 1rgg)
I know that collagen is also a proine-rich proteins, any mutational data available for this system? any other system?
Bowman-Birk inhibitors from legumes. They present interesting conserved prolines within the protease inhibitory domains. Please, contact me for additional details if necessary.
