I was rcently invited to submit paper for the 2016 International Conference on Education and Innovation which will take place between April. 23-24, 2016 in
Hangzhou, China. Does anyone have any idea about this conference and/or how important it's?
I have received similar invites from numerous conferences. I usually check their conference page and decide form there. I reside in Japan and there seems to have been an explosion of these generic conferences. Some will have the same conference title in numerous cities to get max ($). Check this link http://conferencealerts.com/ and look under Japan. S. Korea, and others.
Some weeks ago I returned from Chengdu, China. I was invited as a keynote speakers in theree conferences: ICELT, EFA and GIEF . They paid the accommodation and travel costs. I recommend.
Can someone tell me please how I can know what is the ranking of each conference?
Unfortunately, there is no real way to check the ranking of a conference like there is for journals. For conferences, be careful. As Harry has mentioned, there are very generic conferences cropping up all over the World...normally in exotic locations and trying to make a quick buck! Try to identify conferences related specifically to your field. A conference on "education and innovation" will cover too many topics in its scope and you will not take much away from it. Instead, look for conferences sponsored by bodies in your field e.g. in manufacturing engineering, I look for conferences sponsored by IEEE or CIRP, to name a few. Hope this helps.
In my understanding, the word "INNOVATION" linked closely to the word "DEVELOPMENT". In field of Computer Science & Information Technologies a DEVELOPMENT can be as ONLINE TOOL to be accepted from a server by any people. From this point of view, any Online Conference could be many more useful than any Traditional Conference like "23-24, 2016 in Hangzhou, China".
