I have a pAR 3038 vector and would like to gather more info about it (map, databases that refer to it etc.)

Sorry, I only saw your question now, which is probably way too late for you.
Anyway, according to A H Rosenberg, B N Lade, D S Chui, S W Lin, J J Dunn, F W Studier, 1987, Table III (PMID: 3315856),
pAR 3038 is the original name for pET-3c. We used it under the old name before it was published.
