Do any researcher know or have tried any method to map intangible heritage?

Dr Kramer´s suggestion about symbols is absolutely correct, ... using the appropriate symbols for your mapping, and defining them in a clear, non ambiguous manner is absolutely necessary for the map to communicate the spatial relations that your research has identified. Nothing is more frustrating than studying a map with symbols not explained by the keys. Said in another way, map symbols should have clear, absolute meanings.... spatial relations of these symbols will more than likely be subject to dynamic, sometimes fuzzy, contextual and even unclear meanings pending further data. Intangible heritage may have this kind of mapping characteristic... my humble advice, is for you not to worry too much about "getting it right" at once , but do look at the relations and re-examine them constantly,... spatial relations have a habit of lying hidden sometimes, until we ask the "right" question.

Frankly, I think you can map anything. Intangible heritage is not produced by "intangible" people in "invisible" places. I´ve always had serious reservations with this denomination.
Nevertheless, the key to mapping anything patrimonial, I believe, is to locate the people who are producers. They in turn, must exist, or have existed, somewhere. As agents they are real entities. Heritage is a product of what people believe and do. Map the people and you will map their creation.
Thank you for your answer. I agree with you when it is about mapping material heritage. For intangible one, it becomes complicated: how to put limitless (in continous mouvement) ideas, concepts, beliefs,... into a map where every single object should have clear limits ?
I'm agree with JJ Ortiz as we can map everything. The kew will be the symbology in your thematic map. The "invisible" can have a name or figure and this will be explened in the symbology

You can everything with everyday apps like google maps so you can map intangible heritage. Neverthless with google maps you have some restrictions in your analysis. You can get analysis tools with open source softwares like QGIS that import google maps data.
A simple answer is you can map any historical data even intangible heritage if you have a coordinate.
