Hello, how do I make a neat phylogenetic tree, such as the one you can see in the attachment (Fig1.jpg) ? Notice how there are multiple taxa displayed under each other on a single terminal branch in the upper part of the image ? I cannot seem to figure out how to do that. I started with a sequence alignment of 30 genotyes, but since many of them were identical duplicates, I entered only 12 unique ones to facilitate a phylogenetic tree construction in MEGA X. Now, obviously in the final tree figure for publication I would like to have all of the genotypes, even the identical ones. So far I have tried to do this in MEGA X directy, or after exporting a Newick format, same thing in FigTree 1.4.4 software. All I see are options to rename a taxon on a branch, to change the appearance etc., but nowhere do I see the option to add more taxa on a branch tip. Any suggestions ? Thank you very much.
