Hi all,

Can anyone help with this issue? I am sectioning human ocular tissue using a microtome. I am finding the tissue itself, not the paraffin, is wrinkled once it is flat on the water bath. I have checked the water bath temperature and it is around 45 degrees. I have left the sections on the water bath for up to half an hour, which seems to improve the wrinkling slightly but is not ideal. The paraffin block are on ice and cooled before sectioning. I am not sure what else I can change but has anyone else had this issue before? Any advice would be great.

Thank you.
