I have a question about the dynamics of antibodies. Lets say you have a solution with a fixed antigen and you add antibodies to it, the antibodies are then floating around and some antibodies will bind while others will not. Is the binding then based on luck (as in when it comes across the target it binds) or is it drawn to its target like a magnet is to metal?
