Hi Chetan, you must do an analysis of power alongside the ANT. ANT is often associated with the equal treatment of human and non-human actors and assumes that all entities in a network can and should be described in the same terms. Clearly, too limited in the context of Fiji where land issues overlap with tourism and power dynamics are crucial.

I do understand from the above, the importance and considerations of use and suitability, but what I would still like to know is (may be more grounded for a layman) the overall way in which one can use it methodologically. 

If I use it as a tool to study empowerment, What should I look at and observe. How do I put it is context of actants and how do I align these actants in a relational setup? THere are more questions, which are kind off confusing me.

Dear Prof. Laverack, 

I 'm also using SET along with ANT to cover the subject a little more holistically. As the resources are owned and maintained by the community, the profits/benefits shared,  power relationships completely would not be an aspect of study for my research. Though let me read through it more, and may be use it is a different way than what I have previously thought. Thank you for your insight. and appreciate the advice.

Please do reconsider the power dynamics in your analysis-there are some other international examples to illustrate this. Good luck.
