Dear Seyed,

What you have displayed is the transfer characteristics of two over coupled resonance circuits. Or double tuned over coupled two resonance circuits. These type of circuits are analysed in books of electric circuits. Any how when the two coupled resonance circuits are over coupled they will show two resonance frequencies and a saddle like curve. The higher frequency has a transmission coefficient which is much greater than the lower renounce frequency and therefore it is recommended to use the higher frequency to maximize the power transfer coefficient.

You can easily verify there results experimentally!!!

Yes you can use Ansys Maxwell linked with Simplorer for low frequencies (from Hz to lower MHz range (13.56 MHz)). Although you can verify your results in HFSS or CST using those lumped elements values as you used in Simplorer.

Thank you for replying my question. I appreciate your time. You mean that the frequency (13.56 MHz) that I selected is appropriate to use in ANSYS Maxwell and Simplorer. Am I right? Can I trust to my results at the mentioned frequency? I was wondering about it. How can I verify my results using HFSS and Simplorer? I CANNOT connect them. I tried to model in the HFSS and link it with the circuit design in ANSYS Electronics Soft. However, I cannot obtain similar results.

Thank you for replying my question. I appreciate your time. Which book do you recommend me to read the analysis of circuits?

I have one transmitter and one receiver circuits that they are L-C circuits and they connected to the transmitter and one receiver coils. I want to have resonate frequency at 13.56 MHz; however, regarding to my result (attached picture), I have different resonant frequency than 13.56 MHz. Why?!!! Would you please explain it for me or introduce one paper or book to analyse my results.

As in hfss and cst there is no need for circuitry to see the results. However, you can make the equivlent circuit model in other softwares like simplorer and electronic softs... In HFSS and CST you can find S-parameters (S11 and S21) directly from the results menu. while for matching the coil in hfss and cst you have to use lumped elements (inductors or capacitors). For using lumped elements in hfss, there are tutorials on you tube.

Thank you for replying my questions. I modeled the WPT in HFSS too. The only difference for modeling of the WPT (wireless power transfer) in Maxwell and HFSS at frequency of 13.56 MHz is that HFSS can give the S-parameters using lumped model. Right?!!!
