Hi Ali Jamali,
negative cell volume and highly distorted element definitely will result in convergence problem. To overcome the negative cell volume, you may rearrange the stiffness of the mesh network. If possible, use higher stiffness near the moving boundary. Another way is changing the mesh motion approach from Spring-type to Diffusion-Type.
@Khor: This will take care of one of my errors; however, the other error, i.e. highly distorted element in Transient Structural is way more persistent and disturbing. What do you think about this? Also, what do you think about my boundary conditions and material properties?
