I need to solve the Maxwell's electromagnetic equations for the case of rectangular gratings on a dielectric slab and calculate the diffraction efficiency in each diffraction order at different wavelengths.
Would someone please share the information on the same?

I will begin with the journal that is suggested (K. Watanabe).
