In 2020, a novel multi-objective optimization method was presented by me as an alternative to optimization method performed using Derringer & Suich function, which is still the most preferred optimization method and called as Response Surface Method (RSM). The proposed method (IVER-Input Values Effect on Responses) represents all of responses as a function of single input, rather than representing each response as a function of the inputs. In this way, the new method eliminates possible failures arising from regression and the selection of user-defined parameters, which are themain disadvantages of optimization using the Derringer&Suich function. Also, it can be used instead of the RSM since it can present the change in optimality values of each response according to the value change of each input. Furthermore, the new method is also expected to be preferred by users as it is easy to interpret and is suitable for the method previously proposed in the literature that aims to provide an optimal range instead of an single optimum value by transforming the data into images. Now, I have published the MATLAB codes as open access so that this method can be used and developed by all researchers and developers. My aim is to develop the method and encourage its use for research purposes. Note that the method and MATLAB codes has licensed as CC BY-NC 4.0 so that it is not use for commercial.
