The tangent loss decreases with an increase in frequency and the power dissipated increases with frequency.
But doesn't one need low tangent loss and low power dissipated?
loss tangent indicates the behavior of the media under different frequencies. Though it might behave as perfect dielectric at high frequency, it might behave as good conductor at low frequency.

But doesn't a dielectric lose its polarizability at high frequencies? Isn't the formation of dipoles difficult at a high frequency? Thus, doesn't a dielectric material lose its permittivity at high frequencies and turn into something else?

We have tested upto 0.6 THz. We found two/three dielectric materials electrically not behaving as dielectric materials.
Low dielectric loss is an important parameter in microwave circuits. Dielectric loss will cause insertion loss in planar circuits such as microstrip and coplanar lines. Dielectric loss will also set the minimum realisable bandwidth for bandpass filters.
