Agricultural Extension belongs to Social Sciences or Agricultural Sciences?

It indeed is a debatable question as stated before but in my opinion it is confluence of agricultural and social sciences. An extensionist have to be skilled in social sciences for understanding and behaving in the community and should also have technical expertise for answering the queries and troubleshooting problems of the farmers. More aptly agricultural extension leans more towards agricultural sciences.
It is Agriculture Social Science its mean purely deals with farmers oriented.
We' ll not find pure science, it is depend upon others. I can say agricultural extension is job its not science, because it is use from diffrent scientefic areas.
Agricultural extension is the application of scientific research and new knowledge to agricultural practices through farmer education.

I do agree with the opinion of Mr. Amandeep Sindh, that ots debatable yet.
Agricultural Extension have no limit. its may be advanced version of social, behavioral mixed with pure science.
Do you know any Country or Institute is declared the Agricultural Extension as social sciences, if any please share notification!
Agricultural extension is an Agricultural Science , not a social, specialization. It requires the specialist to know all that the farmer needs about plant or other agricultural processes (fertilization, Pest control, harvesting, storage, etc.), and these informations not available in social specialties.
I agree with Amandeep Singh . an agricultural extension specialist basically is agriculture professional who must know all information that the farmer needs. However, in order to interact more effectively with the farmers, he/she must have social skills. That is why in my undergraduate studies, they taught us a course of agricultural extension and rural society.
