Respected Sirs/Madam,

I am originally an engineer but as part of an innovation of our curriculum this year I am teaching Agricultural Economics to MSc students.

I researched a bit online and found books by H. Evan Drummond & John W. Goodwin and Penson quite relavant. However, being new to this field I request you to please give your expert advice regarding the book/curriculum? Additionally, if you have any course material or lecture slides, I would be highly obliged if you could share it with me as a fellow academian.

A very interesting post and reply. Indeed as provided by Dr. Z. DelMundo-Norman the combination of engineering and agricultural economics is a very good way to approach such a course and is novel. There are not many books and courses on the specific subject matter. I have researched for some years another field related to agricultural economics and that is agricultural mechanization economics and business and this also is fairly 'novel' in terms of lack of books and courses on the subject matter. Hence may be a possible starting point. If i may also provide another suggestion in that of environmental and natural resource economics integrated into agricultural economics.
