Aging of the barnacle species Perforatus perforatus?

I am looking for publications dealing with biology and the growth of barnacles in the NE Atlantic and more specially, Perforatus perforatus, in order to give an age to some barnacle individuals or to date the settlement of these individuals on a marine structure.
