In my Agilent LC MS/MS 6410B a vacuum and communication is presenting repeatedly. After system is stable, it suddenly (minutes, days, weeks) shows either 1.23 or 5.7 error. Both indicating an error in rough vacuum or high vacuum respectively. Sometimes the system lose communication. I have changed the smart card, AC board, the gauge, rough vacuum, oil and the problem persist. Additionally, the LTD report, advisor, indicates "Emod fun fault". Any idea of what to do? What is the emod fun or what funs do we consider change? Thanks for your help.
Contact Agilent's service dept. Has the system gone through a full PV?

Sorry,, "PV" = Preventative Maintenance service (perform the regular preventative maintenance, inspection and cleaning services for the vacuum pumps and the entire LC/MS instrument) as well as run an 'OQ', Operational Qualification. Those jobs will allow you to evaluate if the instrument is operating to specification.
Regarding "computer" glitches. 1st, Backup all data and methods.
Review all instrument error logs and record any events or errrors. Next, run an error scan, clean and defragment the hard discs. Check cable connections. Update and software (review Agilent's site for patches, service packs or updates).
After recording the exact errors found, you may want to contact Agilent in California (USA) for technical help or support. Please understand that their may be a cost associated with this.
Hi all, after seveal attemps and lots of cost associeted, the issue was the cable which connects he MB1 with the gass flow module. Bad connection and a simple 200USD cost solved the problem that even Agilent technitians did not were able to solved! Always help to be corious!!
