I am trying to plot daily LST(Land Surface temerature) data for a region using MODIS and Landsat data. I have used ESTARFM model to fuse MODIS and Landsat data to produce daily LST data at landsat resolution. However MODIS data (Acqua-MYD11A1) is only available after a few days of lag. Can somebody please let me know how many days of lag is there between acquisition date and the date on which the data is made available and whether it is possible to produce the LST data at near real time if we compute the LST ourselves?
not sure abot LST product but you can download the data NRT after few minutes of image acqusition.
As of today, 28th Oct 2019, the latest data available is for the 18th of Oct, 2019. Have checked it on https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/ and the lpdaac server. I was under the impression that MODIS data would be available within 2 days . Is it normally so late or is there something wrong
I have been exploring the NRT data of MODIS for LST and the level 2 MYD11_L2 5 min SWATH data at 1 km resolution is available . How do we the convert the level 2 NRT data into a format like the level 3 MYD11A1 ?
