Sadly, the concept of p-values and significance testing forms the very core of statistics. Yesterday American Statistical Association (ASA) publish a official article entitled "ASA Statement on Statistical Significance and P-values", linked here . In this article they have  pointing out  that p-values are at best underinformative and often misleading. After reading this article how we can test the hypothesis?
