There are general figures available of how much less water is required in aeroponics, but I could not find any specific data (in ml) of how much is actually required. At this stage of my research I would be thankful for any examples and would not need the water demand of any specific type of plant.
Hi Reiner, I think that there is no general answer because water demand will depend on the size of the plants and on VPD at leaf level. Moreover other environmental factors might influence water demand.
Yes, the water demand is directly proportional to the evapotranspiration rate which is affected by the leaf size, growth stage, exposition, air temp. and so on. So it does not exist a standard daily water demand of a given plant species.
